Aqua jogging – boost your stamina
In comparison with exercising on land, the great advantage of aqua jogging is that the spine, musculoskeletal system and joints are relieved as soon as you enter the water. In other words, no strain is put on your body – not even during the exercises.
Similar to exercising on land, you jog through deep water but in a floating position. But there’s a key difference: In aqua jogging, you usually don’t touch the bottom of the pool. This is ensured by a pool depth of ideally 1.80 m and a swimming belt (swimming skills are required).
In order to breathe a bit of life into the exercises and train other muscle groups, you can change your step sizes, adjust your tempo and use both your arms and legs.
